Attention writers!!! Marsche-Davis Enterprises invites you to submit your work for the following compilation novels:
“Love Letters”(working title) – We are currently seeking participants for a compilation work based upon the experience of our greatest human emotion. Submissions should be in essay form and describe love’s intrinsic influences. From new love, enduring love, long-time love and tributes to loves lost, “Love Letters” will pay homage to the glorious natures of Aphrodite, Eros, Romeo and Juliet and Adam and Steve. Let us experience love through your words; sonnets and prose to those who have touched you most gently and enduringly. All submissions must be between 1,000 and 2,500 words. “Remembering My Grandmother” and “Remembering My Grandfather” (working titles) – These two compilation novels will be comprised of the memories derived from those in our lives who have held the title of “grandparent.” Submissions should convey the values, ethics and teachings derived from your Grandmother/Grandfather, and the memories associated with such learning. What part of your grandparent(s) lives on through you? Norman Rockwell moments are great, but please do not feel pigeonholed if your experience is not a reflection of the idealistic cliché. We are looking for colorful characters and wisenheimers too! All submissions must be between 1,000 and 2,500 words. “Surviving the Night” – This compilation work will be the work of those who have suffered and resurrected themselves from their journeys through abuse. Sexual, physical, emotional and spiritual abuses are prevalent horrors that all too many have had the misfortune to endure. “Surviving the Night” will convey the tales of the triumphant survivors of such abuses and, moreover, provide a light of hope and inspiration to those who are still living their nightmares (even in the absence of their abuser(s)). Submissions should ultimately convey the strength of the human spirit in spite of such sufferings; the journey from victimhood to victor. All submissions must be between 1,000 and 5,000 words.
